Personal Progress Starter Kits

As a value project, one of my sisters and her friends gave a Personal Progress Starter Kit to the new Beehives. They worked hard and collected the information and items they needed.  They talked to their  Young Women leaders and learned there were seven girls who needed a bag.  They asked these girls their favourite colours and sewed a pillow case for each. They wrote the girl’s name and the values on the edge of the pillow case.  Then they gathered items and explained how they represented the values.  With the help of an adult, they made tags to go on the items and the bags.  I don’t have a picture of them, but they also included a list of value experiences which take one day to finish.  Then they place everything in a bag and tied ribbons of each value colour on.  It was a lot of work, but they turned out adorable.  The new beehives loved them!  It was also a wonderful way for my sister and her friends to get to know the new beehives.
